Using Linked Data for Better Navigation in Summaries of Product Characteristics

چکیده

Summaries of product characteristics (SPCs) serve as a basic source of information for physicians about medicinal products. SPC is attached to every single registered medicinal product and contains large amount of valuable data in natural language. In this paper we deal with natural language processing (NLP), annotation and Linked Data representation of SPCs. Moreover, we also use the annotations for acquisition of new information about, e.g., interactions. A web application for browsing Linked Data representation of SPCs has been developed.
